How To Choose Wedding Flowers Based on Zodiac Sign
Aug 16, 2018 | by Cristina Ventling
Selecting flowers for your wedding can be a daunting task. There are a number of factors to consider: budget, color, affinity for a particular bloom, season and if you're the sentimental type, symbolism. In Senapa Weddings, we featured the symbolism of flowers to help you make an emotional decision but what if you still need guidance in selecting flowers for your bouquet, ceremony and reception? Brides.com suggests that you "look to the stars". No, really. Let your zodiac sign guide you to the flowers that best suit you.
How accurate is this method of flower selection? I decided to put it to the test to see if the stars picked a floral that I felt coincided with my style and personality. I'm Taurus the Bull so let's see what the stars suggest for me. Because Taurus girls are supposed to have a penchant for beauty and luxury, the dahlia (with its abundance of petals and often generous size) is felt to capture a Taurus girl's personality. Dahlias are best cultivated in the fall (that's my absolute favorite time of year!). Hmmm, there may be something to this mystical method. What flower variety does the stars suggest for you? Take a look.
