When Should Rehearsal Dinner Invitations Be Sent?

If rehearsal dinner invitations aren't being sent along with the wedding invitation suite, they should be mailed to guests three to four weeks before the rehearsal dinner. When deciding who to invite to this pre-wedding celebration, don't assume that the bridal party and immediate family members know that they're invited. Send an invitation to everyone that you want to join in this night of mingling.
The typical guest list for the rehearsal dinner (also known as the "Groom's Dinner") includes:
- Parents
- SIblings and their significant others
- Grandparents
- Members of the bridal party
- Ushers and their significant others
- Ring bearer and immediate family members
- Flower girl and immediate family members
- Officiant and spouse
- Out-of-town guests (optional, depending on budget)
