It's finally happened! According to Zola, summer weddings are no longer the be-all-end-all. For the first time ever, 40% of all weddings taking place in 2018 will be held in the fall (September and October).  And the MOST popular wedding date of 2018?  Drumroll, please.  It's Saturday, October 20, 2018.  As one who has a serious love affair with autumn, I can dig it.

I was wondering when it would happen because, let's face it, who wants to tie the knot in the sweltering heat of a summer day.  Alternatively, fall weddings benefit from crisp air in addition to robust color palettes.  If you're planning an upscale affair, fall is also better suited to formal attire.
